These are my own peculiar sound-sensitivities.    But it's not necessarily loud sounds that upset me.    Nor do eating and breathing sounds actually disturb me (though I certainly don't find these attractive!).    And fidgeting can be really irritating.
What DOES upset - and bring on a feeling of acute fury! - is people's movements and certain TYPES of sounds - which is mostly any 'impact' sounds mindlessly caused by people who don't seem to be aware that they're doing this.     If there's anyone else on this planet with the same avoidances/'triggers' - I'd LOVE to hear from, or about, them! Just how they go about daily life; what they avoid; what REALLY upsets them, etc

FIRSTLY - Wherever I go the first things I look out for are: -whether it's by a car-park, or anywhere where cars can be parked.
-checking whether doors (in buildings) are fitted with self-closing springs (so at least it's harder for people to shut them too forcefully).
-checking that there's nothing around with any sort of door or lid or part that can be too-forcefully or snapped shut - ie washing machines, fridges, microwaves, those modern supermarket tills (what I call 'slam-down'), those expresso coffee-making machines, spectacle cases, electric kettle lids...... list is endless, really!

My particular avoidances and triggers:
-Any doors, car doors, fridge and appliance doors, cupboards, lids, being too-forcefully snapped shut/slammed-down by people.
-People emphatically tapping, slapping or thumping on surfaces (ie in the kitchen, or sitting at table with people).
-People unnecessarily clapping their hands, or slapping objects down (ie newspapers, magazines, books).
-People tossing down or carelessly allowing things to drop or snap shut.
-Any person's movements that CAUSE these sounds to happen.
-Impatient, careless, energetic, insensitive and/or heavy-handed people - who are most likely to make these sounds and movements.
-Obtuse UNperceptive People who are, or seem to be, completely unaware of their 'impact' on other people.
-People who seem completely sound-INsensitive!
-People who just are NOT going to understand - and who won't/don't 'register' you as YOU-THE-INDIVIDUAL in the first place!
-'Social' people who blindly 'follow the herd' (ie they involuntarily do these actions just because 'it's always done' and 'everyone else does them'.
- Exhibitionist people who cause these sounds just to attention-seek.

Places I DON'T hang around in, or avoid:
Kitchens, Coffee-Bars, Most Restaurants, Being in or around cars, Car Parks, People's homes (especially with dogs or children!), Doing any activity in groups (unless I can really 'trust' the people around me)

I often feel I must be completely alone in the world for having these 'trigger-reactions' to these particular types of unaware-people-caused sounds. Oddly enough I am NOT upset by 'ambient' sounds such as traffic and machinery - nor by loud music. Or even by things like hammering, as I can see a reason for this (ie the person is AWARE of what they're doing).
